The Nokia Lumia 710 can now be picked up for as little as $29.99 with a 3-year contract through the Canadian carrier MTS. With a 2-year contract, a unit costs $99.99. And unlocked units go for $279.99 a pop. The move to release the Nokia Lumia 710 was probably done by MTS to get more users to sign up for service contracts by banking on the merits of Microsoft's Windows Phone platform. The Nokia Lumia 710 comes with a 1.4GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3.7-inch touchscreen LCD, 5-megapixel camera, 8GB of internal storage, and Windows Phone 7.5.
