Nokia Lumia 920 gets run over by a car and lives
BGR

What does it take to render the Nokia Lumia 920 unusable? More than getting run over by a car, apparently. In a series of torture tests conducted and recorded on video by PhoneBuff, Nokia's Windows Phone-powered flagship handset is subjected to getting run over (twice), getting smacked with a wooden plank, getting tossed in the air and fall down to hit the pavement, and getting thrown against a concrete light post. It survives the car test but the wooden plank kills it completely. And even then, its screen remains free from scratches. It only cracks when thrown against the light post. It's an interesting outcome to an equally interesting device.

What Else You Need To Know

  • The Nokia Lumia 920's touchscreen display is covered by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and its casing comes with a poly-carbonate finish.
