Nokia and Microsoft have just invited media attendees to come to a Windows Phone-related event scheduled to happen on September 5. Based on the design of the actual invite itself, it seems that the two companies are gearing up to launch some new devices that are possibly powered by Windows Phone 8 software. Nokia Maps was also highlighted in one of the tiles on the invite, so perhaps there's some navigation-related new stuff in the event as well.
What Else You Need To Know:
- Microsoft and Nokia are expected to introduce new hardware that will run Windows Phone 8.
- There are rumors that Nokia will introduce a Windows Phone-powered tablet at the upcoming event, but it is more likely that it will just stick with unveiling handsets instead.
