Nokia Lumia 900 users in the US and Canada can now update their handsets to Windows Phone Tango and enjoy a couple of new features as well as a few bug fixes. The update process can be performed either through a Windows PC or a Mac and should take about 30 minutes to finish completely, according to Nokia. The Windows Phone software update for the Nokia Lumia 900 is made available in cooperation with AT&T in the US and Rogers in Canada. It is also possible to use Zune for Windows to download and install the Nokia Lumia 900 update.
What Else You Need To Know:
- The Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone Tango update adds a new flip-to-silence feature that is part of the overall enhancements to proximity sensor performance.
- The update also includes some camera tweaks and a fix for the purple hue problem that affected some phones in low-light conditions.
