Android device-makers have been continually outdoing one another trying to attain the elusive edge-to-edge screen with zero bezel but a little known Korean company is touting a phone with a tiny 2.4mm bezel, which is roughly half the bezel width on the iPhone 5. Complementing the good looks, the innards of the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean-running device are high-end, although they're not mind blowing: 5-inch screen with 720p display, 1.7 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage plus microSD, 2150mAh battery, and 13MP rear-facing camera. No release date outside Korea has been announced.
What Else You Need To Know
- Pantech says the device has a viewable area hitting 75.5% of the total area available on the front, something the manufacturer believes is the "world's best implementation."
