Unannounced, But Heavily Leaked, BlackBerry Curve 9320 Press Shots Surface Online
This entry-level Berry has been leaked online a few times – now looking poised for a RIM announcement next week at BlackBerry World. This Curve looks like the other iconic QWERTY devices from previous years, but one of the main features it’ll have it a dedicated BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) button, plus that it’ll be powered by BlackBerry OS 7.1.

Samsung Regains Global Smartphone Sales Top Spot, Overtaking Apple
The first quarter of 2012 saw Korean mobile firm Samsung overtake Apple to regain its position as the biggest seller of smartphones across the world, according to a report released by Strategy Analytics. Samsung’s 31 percent market share saw it out-gun Apple’s 24 percent over the three month period, flipping the duo’s positions after the Cupertino-based firm led the previous quarter. Samsung has not revealed its sales figure for the quarter, though analysts estimate it be in the region of 44 million, while Apple this week disclosed that it sold 35 million iPhones.

Twitter App Update Brings Improved Discover, Search and Notifications to iOS and Android
t's not like there's any shortage of alternatives, but those sticking with the ooh-ficial Twitter app on iOS and Android woke up to a rather pleasant update today. Briefly, the company's promising improvements to discover, search and notifications, with the new build allowing users to view "Activity" -- described as a "stream of updates that shows which tweets are favorited or retweeted by the people you follow and which accounts those people follow or add to lists."

iOS Developers Plan an Alternative to WWDC After Sell Out
Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference is scheduled to take place in San Francisco from June 11th to June 15th. Tickets for the event sold out in less than two hours, leaving many West Coast developers in the dark, and the Cupertino-based company is enforcing restrictions this year that prevent tickets from being transferred. For developers who aren’t interested in legally changing their name to get past Apple’s restrictions, there is an alternative — Indie Developer Labs.
