HTC Droid Incredible 4G Announced, Headed To Verizon
HTC and Verizon announced the HTC Droid Incredible 4G on Monday, the third phone in the Droid Incredible line. The HTC Droid Incredible 4G has a 4-inch Super LCD display, and 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. The phone has an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera for shooting pics, and can also capture photos while simultaneously shooting high-definition video. A forward-facing camera is also available for video chatting.

Samsung, Qualcomm Start Up Alliance For Wireless Power To Take On Qi
Wireless power has until now been closely associated with the Wireless Power Consortium's Qi standard. There's now a second proposed common ground in the Alliance for Wireless Power, or A4WP. Samsung and Qualcomm, along with some help from Powermat, SK Telecom, Ever Win Industries, Gill Industries and Peiker Acustic, are making an alternative that allows for "spatial freedom" between your gadget and the charging source, although whether or not that's better than the 1.6-inch distance of the updated Qi spec is left to the imagination.

Virgin To Roll Out New Smartphone And Prepaid Plans May 9th
Virgin will be making some changes to their plans, both to the Smartphone plans and the Prepaid offerings. The Smartphone plans are eligible for Virgin’s BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) and for the Prepaid, as usual, offer Unlimited Incoming Texts, Voicemail, Call Display, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting, and 3-way calling.
