Public Mobile adds a new Android-powered handset to its lineup in the form of the Kyocera Rise, a full touchscreen model that also has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for those who prefer typing out longer messages with the use of actual hardware buttons. It offers a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, a 3.2-megapixel camera, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It's set to become available for $149 outright.
What Else You Need To Know
- Just like Public Mobile's other Android offerings, the Kyocera Rise is "Siren Music ready" and will work with the carrier's recently launched unlimited music service.
