Qualcomm has gone out and confirmed that LG is indeed working on a quad-core "superphone" equipped with its upcoming Snapdragon S4 Pro mobile processor, along with other premium specs that will easily put most currently available flagship Android smartphones to shame. Other than Qualcomm's S4 Pro CPU, it is said that the upcoming LG smartphone will also feature a 4.7-inch HD IPS LCD, 13MP camera, and 2GB of RAM. It is expected to arrive in South Korea in September, followed by a global launch shortly thereafter.
What Else You Need To Know:
- Current speculation points to a rumored LG Optimus G as being the first Android smartphone running on Qualcomm's S4 Pro platform.
