Rogers and Fido launches HD Voice for users with compatible devices

Rogers and Fido quietly rolled out HD voice for its customers last week in order to greatly increase the quality of calls between HD voice compliant 3G/4G-enabled smartphones. According to a statement released by Rogers, their network is currently "capable of supporting HD Voice for devices that are HD voice compliant." So smartphone users under the Rogers and Fido networks should be able to enjoy clearer calls with enhanced suppression of background noise from now on.

What Else You Need To Know

  • The list of HD compatible devices includes the Apple iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, HTC One S, Sony Ericsson Xperia S, and Nokia N8-00.
