Rogers survey shows preferred way of communicating for youth and parents

Results of a new survey conducted by Rogers now show that 40% of those aged 18-24 rely on technology in order to stay close with their parents. And the preferred activity for those who really want to keep in close touch with their dearest family members? Texting. 94% of parents and 82% of the youth prefer using SMS to "stick together" electronically. This applies for both tablet and smartphone users.

What Else You Need To Know:

- Rather unsurprisingly, the survey results show that far more youth download apps to their smartphone or tablet devices at 79% compared with 56% of parents.
