Samsung Galaxy Note II now official with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Samsung has just taken the wraps off the Galaxy Note II, the second iteration of its highly successful Samsung Galaxy Note phablet, and already people are referring to as the South Korean company's "most important phone yet." It features a 5.5-inch 1280x720 HD Super AMOLED touchscreen display, 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 2GB of RAM, up to 64GB of storage, and 4G LTE connectivity. Inside its sleek 9.4mm thin body hides wireless antennas for Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, and NFC, and the default operating system is the latest flavor of Android, version 4.1 a.k.a. Jelly Bean. It will become available first in Europe and land in the US before the end of this year.

What Else You Need To Know:

- The Samsung Galaxy Note II comes with a slightly larger screen than its predecessor, which only had a 5.3-inch display.
