Samsung is reportedly getting ready to roll out the next software update for users of its flagship Android smartphone immediately after the Mobile Unpacked event on August 29. What this means is that owners of the Samsung Galaxy S III can expect to receive a notification for a software download that will upgrade their handsets from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The software update is said to be for the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S III.
