Samsung's head of Mobile Communications JK Shin has confirmed the existence of the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini and promised that it will be unveiled in an official launch date scheduled on October 11th, 2012. This information was first revealed in a meeting with the Korean press. Shin didn't let on any real details about the upcoming handset, except that it will have a 4-inch touchscreen display and use Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the default operating system. The outward design will be based entirely on the original Samsung Galaxy S III.
