Samsung has finally announced the 4-inch screen-equipped Galaxy S III mini as a smaller and less powerful version of their current flagship handset, the Samsung Galaxy S III. The GS3 mini is fitted with a WVGA resolution Super AMOLED touchscreen panel, a 1GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear camera, and up to 16GB of internal storage space. Its list of specs makes it a lot closer to the Samsung Galaxy S II instead of the S III, although it does have an edge over the same because of built-in NFC and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
What Else You Need To Know
- Samsung hasn't announced info on pricing and release dates for the GS3 mini yet, but it is expected to be made available at an affordable price point to really get customers to line up for it instead of many other Android-powered alternatives.
