An unofficial Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S III is now available for download thanks to the guys over at SamMobile. The firmware is apparently reading for testing with build label I9300XXDLG4. Those who are familiar with rooting and flashing ROMs to handsets such as Samsung's latest flagship model on the Android platform may feel free to download and tinker with this unofficial release right now. So far, it seems to be the only way to experience using Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on the Samsung Galaxy S III.

- The release of this unofficial ROM comes less than 24 hours after a video of a Samsung Galaxy S III running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean got posted on YouTube.
- New reports now say that the official release date of the Samsung Galaxy S III Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update is August 31.
