Even before the April 26 worldwide release date of the Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung is already confirming that overwhelming global demand may limit initial supplies of the Galaxy S4. Samsung has arranged its flagship smartphone to be rolled out with a staggering 327 operators across 155 countries starting April 26th. Among other carriers, Sprint and T-Mobile USA have already confirmed there would be slight delays, with Sprint saying that deliveries would be delays for possibly five days. Samsung says that it would be able to meet demands in the coming week.

- Sprint cited "unexpected inventory challenges from Samsung" for the delays.
- The Galaxy S4 is being released by seven different carriers in the U.S. and top retailers including Best Buy, Best Buy Mobile, Costco, Sam’s Club, Staples, and Walmart.
