The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 could be announced in the next few days, and Samsung's third-generation Galaxy Tab tablets won't have leading edge specs, if information provided by a tech Web site ends up correct. techblog.gr, citing an unnamed source, says that the tablet would come in 8-inch and 10.1 inch models. Both tablets would have Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, although the bigger slate would have a smaller RAM and a bigger battery. According to the Greek Web site, the 3G version of the new Galaxy Tabs are slated for a May release date while the LTE versions will arrive in June or July.

- According to Tech Blog, both the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and 8 would have a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, 3 megapixel rear-facing camera and microSD card slot.
- The bigger model reportedly would have a 1 GB of RAM and 7,000 mAh battery while the 8-inch model gets 2 GB of RAM and a 4,500 mAh battery.
