Samsung's TecTile NFC app for mobile phones has now been updated to version 3.0, and its latest iteration brings a number of new features which include tag history, active profile creation, and using single NFC tags to write multiple actions. TecTile 3.0 also introduces Google+ and Google Talk integration, and now allows certain actions like setting up tags for specific tasks like playing a music file or sending out a pre-written e-mail. The new features in TecTile 3.0 further expands the usefulness of NFC wireless on smartphones.

- The Samsung TecTile 3.0 NFC update is expected to work with all compatible Samsung mobile phones and a number of NFC-enabled handsets from the likes of Motorola and HTC.
