Sony's Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade plans for its Xperia line of smartphones have finally been revealed, and apparently, less than 10 of their most recent models will be getting the latest version of Google's Android software. The rest of the models in the Xperia line will be left in the dust, especially the ones that were released back in 2011. The full list of models that will be getting upgraded to Jelly Bean is as follows: Xperia acro S, Xperia go, Xperia ion, Xperia J, Xperia P, Xperia S, Xperia T, Xperia TX, and Xperia V. The software upgrade will begin to roll out in Q1 2012.
What Else You Need To Know
- Some of Sony's more recent handsets, like the Xperia U, won't be getting an upgrade to Jelly Bean--even though they were released in 2012.
