As earlier reported, the Android-flavored Sony Xperia go smartphone is now available for purchase in Canada through the Rogers subsidiary Fido for $299 a piece. It's a rugged little model that's built to IP67 spec and features a dust-proof and water-resistant casing that ensures users can carry it with them pretty much wherever they go. It also boasts a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a dual-core CPU, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
What Else You Need To Know
- The Sony Xperia go will be sold in two color variants: black and white.
- At this point, it's unclear whether or not it will be upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in the future.
