The unannounced Sony Xperia SL smartphone was spotted in blue and pink when it was first uncovered about a month ago. Now, new pictures gathered by Chinese web site ePrice show that it can also be purchased in three other color variants: black, white, and silver. The total number of color choices for the Sony Xperia SL now amount to five. Current reports indicate that the phone could be announced alongside other upcoming models from Sony before the end of this month, and more information on release dates can be expected to become available in the next few weeks.

- Sony is expected to hold a launch event for several of its upcoming Android smartphones on August 29, which the Xperia SL could be a part of.
- The Sony Xperia XL features a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor which should make quick work of navigating the menus in Android 4.0 ICS.
- There is no indication that the Sony Xperia SL will be launched with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
