Sony is expected to officially unveil at the International CES expo in Las Vegas on January 8th to 11th feature-packed Xperia phones with a Sony-esque build quality and improved ergonomics while matching the specs of current Android superphones. Russian site Mobile-Review has reportedly snatched a prototype of the Sony Yuga that features a 5-inch, Full HD 1080p display, Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core chipset clocked at 1.5 GHz with Adreno 320 graphics and 2 GB of RAM, 12 megapixel camera, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, and 4G LTE support.
What Else You Need To Know
- Yuga, which will be officially released as Xperia Z, will be water and dust resistant, will make use of OptiContrast technology to reduce glare, and features microSD, Micro HDMI and Micro USB ports.
- Sony is also expected to release the Xperia X (codenamed Odin), which will have the same specs as the Yuga but will sport a different design and probably a dual-SIM feature.
