Sprint Galaxy Nexus Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade now being rolled out
BGR

The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus from Sprint in the US has been officially confirmed, by none other than Sprint itself. An unofficial statement coming from a Sprint employee also confirms the availability of the said update for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus S 4G. Canadian owners of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus have started receiving updates as well, but strangely not of the Jelly Bean kind. It seems that only Samsung Galaxy S III users in Canada will be able to enjoy the taste of Android's latest release version for now, courtesy of a leaked update from Bell that also works with phones from Telus and Rogers.

What Else You Need To Know

  • The Samsung Galaxy Nexus Jelly Bean upgrade will be rolled out slowly in the next few weeks.
  • Samsung Galaxy Nexus owners in Canada have reported getting updates to Android 4.0.2 only.
