A newly issued software update for the Microsoft Surface with Windows RT, called KB2756872, brings improved battery life and other performance enhancements that is expected to make the overall user experience much better than it currently is. Audio and video playback have been improved as part of the update, and it looks like more and more users will be getting a taste of its sweetness over the weekend. Look for differences in tablet performance inside apps like Xbox Music for the improvements.
