T-Mobile today announced two new handsets which are expected to become available some time well before the end of this year. These are the Android-powered LG Optimus L9 and the Nokia Lumia 810 with Windows Phone. The LG Optimus L9 boasts a 4.5-inch qHD touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass 2, a 1GHz dual-core CPU, 5MP camera with 1080p video recording, and a 2,150mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Nokia Lumia 810 offers a 4.3-inch OLED ClearBlack display, 8MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, replaceable back covers, and support for 4G (non-LTE) networks. Pricing info for both is currently unavailable.
What Else You Need To Know
- The Nokia Lumia 810 is expected to arrive "in the coming weeks" while the LG Optimus L9 has a release date scheduled for "this fall."
- The LG Optimus L9 will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and will also work with T-Mobile's 4G (HSPA+) network.
