T-Mobile launches ZTE Concord with Android for $99
Android Police

T-Mobile has just launched the ZTE-manufactured Concord smartphone, one of the most affordable Android-powered smartphones ever. It packs features that can be considered entry level, which include a 3.5-inch HVGA display, 2-megapixel camera, and built-in Wi-Fi. Despite this, however, T-Mobile aims to sell loads of the Concord by offering it for only $99 a piece without a yearly contract. It will be available starting August 26.

What Else You Need To Know:

- Walmart will also offer the same handset for the same price with the Walmart Family Mobile no annual contract plan

- The T-Mobile ZTE Concord runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread by default and is unlikely to receive any updates to later versions of the Android software.

Its no Galaxy S III, but with credit checks, lengthy contracts and the need for something better than a flip phone, this could be a pretty good option. - Stormy Beach, AndroidSPIN
