Telus launches 4G LTE network coverage in more BC regions

LTE network coverage is now available in a total of four new BC regions, thanks to Canadian carrier Telus and its plan to reach 90% of the population of the said province through the rest of 2012. The list of covered regions now includes Kamloops, Prince George, Vernon, Armstrong, Enderby, Vancouver Island, Duncan, and Parksville, This move is part of a $7.3 million investment to further expand its network across Canada. Telus also plans to expand further up BC's north, and to certain areas in the Thompson Okanagan region.

What Else You Need To Know

  • 4G LTE network coverage is also available in the following locations: Grand Prairie, AB; Red Deer, AB; and Windsor, Ontario.
