Top tech sites are posting live blogs of today’s iPad mini event hosted by Apple. At the event in San Jose, California slated to start at 10 a.m. PST, CEO Tim Cook and other Apple execs are expected to unveil a 7.85-inch version of the iPad, as well as a refreshed version of iBooks, a new 13.1-inch MacBook Pro, and possibly a refreshed iPad 3. Sites that have promised to provide real-time updates, commentary, and photos of the event include GigaOM, The Verge, PC Advisor, Engadget, SlashGear, Tech Radar and PCWorld.
What Else You Need To Know
- Pundits expect the iPad mini to have a 7.85-inch display, a brushed aluminum backside, a lower resolution than the 9.7-inch iPad 3's highly touted 2048 x 1536 Retina resolution display, and a price tag significantly below the $499 entry-level iPad 3.
