Archos has confirmed that the GamePad will be coming to the United States early next year. Gamers who can't wait for the U.S. release of the 150 Euro (about $194) device can fly over the Atlantic Ocean as the device is now available in key markets in Europe. The GamePad is a 7-inch Android tablet with a set of action buttons and dual analog and dual analog sticks on the sides, plus a key mapping tool that allows non-optimized games to work with the controllers. The GamePad is popular with gamers as Archos.com's initial stock sold out in just a few hours, with the next delivery on the 18th of the month, according to Archos' Facebook page.

- The GamePad features decent specs: 7-inch touchscreen with resolution of 1024 by 600 pixels, dual-core 1.6GHz Cortex-A9 processor with quad-core Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM, front-facing camera, 8GB of storage, microSD slot, Wi-Fi-only connectivity, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
- France-based Archos has not announced pricing of the gaming tablet in the U.S.
