Apple's upcoming iPhone 5S has been rumored to be a small upgrade to the iPhone 5: there'd be a faster A7 processor and better cameras but changes to the design would be minimal. New rumors now claim that the iPhone 5S may incorporate two new hardware components: NFC and a fingerprint reader. Chinese site Macotakara claims that Apple is also planning to put an NFC chip which would allow the iPhone 5S to support contactless mobile payments. A built-in fingerprint reader underneath the home button is not surprising as Apple bought mobile biometric security firm Authentec for $356 million in 2012.
