ZTE has confirmed that it will unveil the 5.7-inch Grand Memo and unnamed device running Mozilla's Firefox OS at the MWC later this month. ZTE previewed to members of the tech press the Grand Memo phablet, which has a powerful 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, a 13-MP rear-facing camera, a micro SD expansion slot, the latest Android 4.1.2 operating system, and extremely thin at only 8 mm thickness. Display junkies though will find fault with then low resolution 720p display for the 5.7-inch screen, given that most upcoming phablets have full-HD 1080p displays.

- ZTE is known for its low-end and affordable phones, but wants to move in on the more lucrative high-end device market.
- The Mobile World Congress is slated for February 25th to 28th in Barcelona, Spain.

ZTE's 5.7-inch, 8mm-thick Grand Memo teased ahead of MWC launch, we go hands-on
While the specs aren't too shabby, our colleague Stone Ip said the choice of finish on the body didn't feel as nice as the Grand S', and the silver bezel made the Grand Memo look worse, but in ZTE's defense it was a prototype and the design may improve in the retail version.
